Luke Staniland

I'm Luke Staniland, an audio engineer based in Manchester, providing live engineering, studio recording, mixing and mastering for artists, studios and venues across the North West.

Much of my recent work has been centred at Low Four Studio, engineering and mixing sessions with artists including Westside Cowboy, Porij, OneDa, SILVERWINGKILLER and Wyatt for their online music TV platform, Live from Low Four. I've also been the primary engineer behind Sour Grapes TV, the collaboration between Low Four Studio and Sour Grapes Records, which is currently in production for a fourth season. I also produce projects for independent artists, most recently co-producing the self-titled EP from Bruise Control alongside the band's guitarist, Niall Griffin.

I've been lucky enough to work in the classical world, assisting on projects under Brendan Williams and Joe Reiser. These include Freya Waley-Cohen's album Spell Book, recorded with Manchester Collective, an AO Phones advert with the Manchester Camerata, and a pre-production session with the BBC Philharmonic.
